The Benefits of Sweet Potatoes

Hair Growth

Sweet Potatoes are rich in vitamins A, B6, C, D, E and Beta-carotene. Beta-carotene in foods is converted to vitamin A in the body (also known as retinol), which is necessary for all cell growth, including our hair. Whether applied directly to your hair or digested sweet potatoes promote healthy, strong and shiny hair.

Moisturizes Dry Hair

Got dry hair? A sweet potato can fix that! With sweet potatoes being so rich in Vitamin A this boosts the natural sebum on your scalp and helps to hold onto moisture longer!

Reduce Excessive Shedding

Have you been noticing a large amount of hair fall during your detangling sessions? Sweet potatoes have you covered! Due to their richness in Beta-carotene, they not only promote hair growth but also a healthy scalp which will stop shedding right in its tracks.
